Troske pleads guilty to murdering Pingree man, shooting New Rockford woman

LaMoure notches two victories

LaMoure Post 19 opened its season with a road sweep of Fairmount-Hankinson on June 3.

Post 19 got a strong outing on the mound from Parker Stemen, who allowed just one run on two hits with five strikeouts in a complete-game effort.

Jared Meiklejohn banged out three hits for Post 19, which scored three in the top of the first inning and never trailed. Quinn Alo and Drew Thielges added two hits apiece in the victory.

Meiklejohn had two more hits in the nightcap as Post 19 finished off the sweep, 6-1. He also had two RBI and scored two runs.

Brady Thielges doubled, stole a base and scored twice. Anthony Olson had an RBI-single.

Brady Warcken started and got the win on the mound, allowing one hit in three innings.
