Lefevre sisters perform at Rotary

Grace and Isabel Lefevre, daughters of Rotarian Troy Lefevre, sang a number of Christmas songs for the Rotarians and their guests. Grace, age 10, and Isabel, 8, are music students of Jackie Tewes, pianist for the Rotary Club. The performance by these young ladies was enjoyed by all.

Carrie Orn presided the meeting, Tom Eckstein gave the invocation, Bob Badal and Tewes led the group in singing Christmas carols. Doug Frolich collected “Happy Dollars” for the staff at the Quality Inn. Student guests were Teagan Skunberg and MacKenzie Gerszewski.

Orn reminded the members of no noon meetings on Dec 24 and 31; the next noon meeting will be Jan. 7 at the Quality Inn. Blaine Bergstedt is responsible for the program, Curt Liechty will give the table blessing, Teresa Brecto will led the group in singing and Lefevre will be the sergeant-at-arms. Gary Riffe is responsible for the “Meals on Wheels” delivery on Jan. 9.

Orn also reminded the members of the district governor visit on Jan. 14 and pictures of the club by King Studio will be at 12:10 p.m. on the Jan. 14. The club needs 100 percent participation.
