Letter to the editor: Be thankful for officials who fight to protect N.D. values
It’s nice to know that North Dakota has a senator who doesn’t check her brain at the door when she walks into the hallowed chambers of the U.S. Senate.
Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., votes for the good of the majority of the people of North Dakota, not in lock-step with the Obama “disorganization.” I’m not affiliated with any party. I vote for the person who I believe will be best for the U.S. and North Dakota. Heitkamp certainly falls into that category. She votes party when it’s in the best interest of the people of this state — period. North Dakota mainly has a rural population. Our standards, values, virtues and way of life are way different than that of the power brokers in Washington who try to push their agendas on everyone. They have no clue what it is like to live in this great state.
We should be thankful that we have representation in Washington that fights fiercely to protect our standards, values, virtues and way of life, which is vital and esteemed to the population of North Dakota.
