The session is being patterned after one held in 1909 to mark the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. It's scheduled to start at 12:45 p.m. in the state House Chambers in Bismarck.

The session is to include a reading of the Gettysburg Address by fourth-graders from elementary schools statewide that are named after Lincoln.

Also planned is a medley of music from Lincoln's era by fiddlers from Bottineau.

President Barack Obama is to fly to Lincoln's hometown of Springfield, Ill., for a banquet as part of the cele-bration of Lincoln's' 200th birthday.
