Man arrested on UJ campus
A man was taken into custody at the University of Jamestown Sunday after it was reported he was carrying a gun, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Sgt. John Johnson said a call came into the Stutsman County Law Enforcement Center at 7:17 p.m. that a man was carrying a gun while walking through the Sorkness Center. Johnson said the man was not carrying a weapon when he was taken into custody somewhere on the college campus.
The JPD, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and the Special Operations Team all responded to the call.
No further information was available as the matter is under investigation.
