Man stabbed four times in bar fight
A fight between two men at a Jamestown bar Tuesday resulted in one of the men receiving four stab wounds, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Hitchin Post Bar in Jamestown.
Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser said deputies were dispatched to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center after a man came in around 11:45 p.m. with stab wounds. The deputies determined the man was injured in an altercation at a bar in the southwest area of Jamestown.
Kaiser said the man was transferred to Sanford Medical in Fargo where he was treated for four stab wounds. The man was released from Sanford Medical around 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to Kaiser.
Kaiser did not release the names of either man involved in the fight as the investigation is ongoing. He said both men involved in the altercation were questioned as to how the fight started.
"We have a couple of witnesses to talk to as yet," he said.
