Meeting on ACA set here Dec. 10
AARP North Dakota will conduct an informational session on the Affordable Care Act from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Gladstone Inn & Suites in Jamestown.
Whether anyone has health insurance or no coverage at all, he or she can attend the “Lunch and Learn” session to find out what the health care law means for the individual and his or her family.
Attendees will learn more about the law’s benefits and protections, new coverage options, and what needs to be done to pick out a health insurance plan that meets the needs of the individual and his or her family.
Since lunch will be provided, registration is required. Anyone can register by calling 1-877-926-8300 or visiting www.aarp.org/nd.
There is no cost to attend, but participants are invited to bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the Great Plains Food Bank.
If anyone is unable to attend, he or she can explore AARP’s interactive tool at www.HealthLawAnswers.org for practical, personalized information on how the law affects an individual and his or her family. To learn more about the law’s provisions, visit to www.HealthLawFacts.org.
