Minn. LB Tinsley died of enlarged heart
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- The Hennepin County medical examiner's office says University of Minnesota linebacker Gary Tinsley died of an enlarged heart.
Tinsley was found dead in his campus apartment on April 6. The medical examiner on Wednesday ruled the 22-year-old's death natural.
Tinsley was a four-year letter-winner at Minnesota and had been preparing for this month's NFL draft. He was just weeks away from receiving his bachelor's degree in business and marketing education.
Tinsley's funeral was held April 14 in his hometown of Jacksonville, Fla.
