GRAND FORKS, N.D. — For the second year in a row, a University of North Dakota football coaching staff had a decision to make at starting quarterback between Joe Mollberg and Ryan Bartels.

On Wednesday, first-year head coach Bubba Schweigert tabbed Mollberg as his starter for the Aug. 28 season opener against San Jose State.
