National park in top 5
MEDORA, N.D. — Theodore Roosevelt National Park was featured as one of the top “presidential attractions” in the nation in Friday’s print and online editions of USA Today.
Selected as the fifth-best attraction as part of a USA Today readers’ choice contest, North Dakota’s only national park attracts more than 600,000 visitors annually.
“Visitors from all the U.S. are drawn to Theodore Roosevelt National Park,” North Dakota Tourism Director Sara Otte Coleman said in a news release. “Its scenic beauty is rugged and untamed, just like when Theodore Roosevelt lived here.”
