ND man charged with robbery, resisting arrest
BISMARCK — A North Dakota man is accused of scuffling with officers who tried to stop him from stealing a semi-trailer on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
Dezemond Andres Sr. is charged in federal court with robbery and resisting a federal officer. He's scheduled for his first court appearance on Wednesday.
Authorities say Andres attempted to steal the semi on April 3 and got into a physical altercation with officers from the Three Affiliated Tribes, Bureau of Indian Affairs and New Town police.
Court documents do not list a lawyer for Andres.
