ND turkey group to give annual bird to gov
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Turkey Federation is presenting a Thanksgiving bird to Gov. Jack Dalrymple.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring also is getting a live bird at the Monday ceremony at the state Capitol in Bismarck.
Representatives of the Abused Adult Resource Center and Ruth Meiers Hospitality House in Bismarck also are to be on hand. The organizations have been given frozen turkeys during the annual event.
