Stilwell, a junior on the Blue Jay gymnastics team, was Jamestown’s top placer at the Dickinson Invite. Her score on vault was 9.3, good for second place and an automatic state-qualifying score.

Ellingson, a senior on the Blue Jay wrestling team, improved his season record to a team-leading 9-1 with a 10-1 major decision during a dual against Bismarck High School.

Watts, a freshman from Miller, S.D., on the Jimmie women’s basketball team, hit on 8-of-14 field goal attempts and 5-of-6 free throws to lead the Jimmies with 21 points in a victory over Trinity Bible. Watts posted a double-double in the game by also collecting 10 rebounds.

Nord, a senior from Enderlin on the Jimmie men’s wrestling team, finished fourth at the St. Cloud Invitational on Saturday. Nord scored a pair of pins to start the tourney before dropping decisions to two St. Cloud State wrestlers.

Jamestown High School’s Erin Hillerud was honored as an athlete of the week last week. A sophomore on the Blue Jay gymnastics team, Hillerud placed in the top two in all events at the Aberdeen triangular a week ago.

Hillerud was second on bars, second on floor, second on vault and was the event winner on balance beam, which led her to the all-around title with a score of 34.90 that led the Blue Jays to first place in the meet.
