A planetarium show is at 1 and 1:30 p.m. Saturday in room 309 of the Rhoades Science Center at Valley City State University.

Finding Polaris I is the first show. The program is 30 minutes and introduces the audience to ancient Greek and Roman mythology told from a stars' point of view.

Finding Polaris II follows at 1:30 p.m. This is a sequel to the 2004 show where a student gets a personal guided tour of the night sky by none other than Polaris -- The North Star himself, this time visiting with some of his friends that are the major stars of the springtime sky: Arcturus, Spica, Regulus, Capella and Thuban. The 30-minute show is designed for people of all ages.

There is no admission charge. Donations are welcome. An elevator is available as people enter the west door.
