Planetarium shows set at VCSU
The Valley City State University Planetarium will have two free public planetarium shows Saturday in room 309 of the Rhoades Science Center.
“It’s About Time” begins at 1 p.m. and takes a look at the various ways time has been calculated since early people first began observing the sun, moon and constellations.
“Finding Polaris II” begins at 1:45 pm and students will get a personal guided tour of the night sky by Polaris — the North Star — and some friends that are the major stars of the spring sky — Arcturus, Spica, Regulus, Capella and Thuban.
Attendees can use the elevator that is at the west door entrance.
