Police: ND man used pepper spray to rob man
MANDAN, N.D. (AP) -- A Mandan man is accused of using pepper spray to rob a man of his wallet.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that 24-year-old Zachary Schilling was charged with Class B felony robbery. His bond has been set at $2,500.
Police say a 59-year-old Mandan man reported that he was walking out of the Moose Club last week when someone came up from behind him, sprayed pepper spray or mace in his face and took his wallet. Police say the wallet had been on a chain, and the robber pulled the wallet off the chain.
Police say the wallet contained an identification card and $400 in cash.
