Popular Grand Forks restaurant coming to Fargo
FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- A popular Grand Forks restaurant that has been a hangout for University of North Dakota students is coming to Fargo in search of North Dakota State University students.
The Red Pepper is known for its non-authentic Mexican food and its submarine sandwich called a grinder. The restaurant has shipped grinders to every state.
Construction of the Fargo restaurant started Monday. It will be located in a mall near NDSU and the Fargodome.
Red Pepper owner Jeff Tellman tells the Grand Forks Herald he considered several locations in Fargo, but liked the idea of being close to NDSU.
