Possible injury reported after crash
There was one possible injury in a two-vehicle crash Thursday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The accident happened at 2:22 p.m. in the 100 block of First Avenue South.
Shannon Cole, 42, 413 Third Ave. NE No.1, was driving a 2000 Dodge north on First Avenue South. He was behind Stacy Vance, 25, 502 Third Ave. NW No. 1, driving a 2004 Dodge car. Vance stopped at the railroad crossing as the warning lights started flashing and the guardrail started coming down, and Cole ran into the rear end of the car Vance was driving.
Vance reported neck and back pain and said she would seek treatment.
Both drivers wore seat belts.
Damage was estimated at $1,000 to the 2000 Dodge and $4,000 to the 2004 Dodge.
Cole was cited for following another vehicle too close.
