Prairie Rose Garden Club to learn about colors in design
Prairie Rose Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at John Zvirovski’s yard at 1601 7th Ave. SE. He will discuss the value of using different colors within the design: what tones pull you in and what tones will “cool” a hot spot. Colors have various meanings and uses within the landscape. Zvirovski will discuss the various ways colorful plants can be used within a landscape design. He will help attendees bring some pizazz to their areas that may seem a little dull. Those attending are asked to bring their own chair for seating.
In case of inclement weather the group will meet at First United Methodist Church by Alfred Dickey Library. Anyone who has questions on what type of plants to use is encouraged to bring those questions.
Programs and meetings are open to the public. Anyone who would like to come is encouraged to attend. Hostess for the evening is Andi Carper. Afterward the club will hold its business meeting. For further questions, contact Betty at 252-4582 or Gloria at 320-9557.
