Pride of Dakota scheduled 1st Spring Showcase

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) -- The Pride of Dakota program has scheduled its first ever Spring Showcase.

North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says more than 60 companies will show their products May 7 at the Raymond Family Community Center in Williston. He says everything from wine to books will be on display.

Goehring says the event is similar to the Holiday Showcases that have been held for years around Thanksgiving and Christmas in Minot, Grand Forks, Fargo and Bismarck. They are scheduled again this year, along with a Harvest Showcase in Dickinson in mid-September.

More than 470 companies belong to Pride of Dakota, a program to help businesses market products made in North Dakota.
