Roaming Buffalo to meet this week
The Roaming Buffalo Camping Club met in April. The bake sale was reported on and the group thanked Jeanette Srozinski for overseeing the project.
The members have had many campouts since May 1. The most notable campout was the statewide campout held June 6-8 at New Salem, N.D. The statewide campout was hosted by the Roughrider Club of Bismarck/Mandan. Also, 10 family members had a trip to Medora, N.D., June 20-22. Members took in the sights, went shopping, ate pitchfork fondue and attended the musical.
Members will meet at the Leonard and Cindy Willey residence over the Fourth of July. Members will cleanup 3 miles of U.S. Highway 281 South at 10:30 a.m. Saturday for the North Dakota Department of Transportation’s Adopt-a-Highway program
Members are reminded to get their registrations in for the Regional Campvention that will be held Aug. 15-17 at York, Nebraska. Members should also remember to collect items on the schedule that will be put in the food basket for distribution during the year-end holidays.
