Rendell Charles Hardy, a 40-year-old from Florida, was arrested in Dickinson on Friday night, Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser said.

Satrone Rashard Boyd, 34, was arrested at a Fargo hotel Saturday morning. Boyd is a former Dickinson State football standout who was on parole and listed his address as Lincoln, N.D.

Authorities found the Lincoln Navigator allegedly used by the suspects at a Dickinson residence where the suspects lived while working in the city, Kaiser said.

Kaiser said he was unsure of the men’s employers.

They are being held at the Stutsman County Correctional Center in Jamestown.

The robbery at Northland Financial Bank occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Greg Boosalis, division counsel for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Minneapolis, Minn., field office, said Friday that two males approached the bank counter and demanded money. One of the robbers brandished a handgun and both suspects wore dark, bulky clothing and colored masks.

The suspects left the bank and were believed to have fled in a blue Chevy Trailblazer, which was found abandoned south of Medina on N.D. Highway 30.

Kaiser said Friday the suspects were believed to have gotten into another vehicle, a light-colored Lincoln SUV that a witness saw parked along N.D. 30 in the same area when he went into Medina Friday morning.

Kaiser said multiple agencies were involved in the arrests, including police departments from Dickinson, Jamestown, Fargo, West Fargo and Lincoln, sheriff’s offices from Burleigh and Stark counties, the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the FBI, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the State and Local Intelligence Center.

A suspect is also in custody in a separate robbery that occurred at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Gate City Bank in Carrington. The suspect was arrested the same day near Martin, N.D.
