Robbery reported at Jetstream Car Wash

Law enforcement officers from three agencies responded to a report of a robbery at Jetstream Car Wash Thursday, according to Maj. John Johnson of the Jamestown Police Department.

The robbery was reported at 7:42 p.m., Johnson said. No one was reported injured.

“A male entered the store about 6 foot tall, wearing jeans, a lighter coat with a hood and his face covered up,” Johnson said. “He asked the clerk for the money and left. No weapons were seen.”

The suspect was seen leaving on foot through the alley.

Officers from the JPD, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and North Dakota Highway Patrol patrolled the area.

Jetstream Car Wash is less than two blocks away from the Cenex store at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 10th Street Southeast, which was robbed on Dec. 15.

“There is no proof they are connected,” Johnson said. “We can’t even speculate on that at this point.”

Johnson said Thursday’s robbery remains under investigation. No estimate of the amount of money taken was available.
