The Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association met at the James River Senior and Community Center for its January meeting. President Orlin Will led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. The business meeting centered around finalized plans for the club’s February card party. Tom Norman, Art Mitzel and Orlin Will were recognized for the work they have done on the advertising and getting door prizes and items for the silent auction. The members will also bring items for the silent auction.

Future programs were discussed. March and April are not finalized, but in May the club will be in Medina to see the white pelicans.

Following lunch, Will introduced the speaker, Don Bentz. Bentz spoke to the group about his career in sales at KSJB radio station.

The next meeting is March 25.
