S.D. gets money for nutrition education
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) -- South Dakota is among 18 states getting a total of $5.8 million in U.S. Department of Agriculture grants to help children develop good nutrition and physical activity habits.
South Dakota's share is $350,000.
The USDA said the money provides schools with nutrition education materials for children and parents as well as technical aid for communities and school food service providers.
