St. Johns’s holding open house Jan. 27
St. John’s Academy is currently seeking volunteers for its school carnival on Jan. 26, and will be holding an open house to recruit new students at 6 p.m. Jan. 27, at the Zebedee Center.
The open house will focus on the school’s early childhood programs for its Kids’ Kingdom preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten and the academy’s child care program, but St. John’s Principal Mark Wiest said all teachers in the school will be on hand to visit with parents.
“The whole school is open and we’ll have all of our teachers here that night, through all grades,” Wiest said. “Sometimes families tour the school and they want to visit with a third-grade teacher or a fifth-grade teacher, so all of our teachers are available that night. This gives families an opportunity to learn about each of the programs that are offered.”
