State offers reward in case
STEELE, N.D. (AP) -- Kidder County Sheriff Doug Howard is asking for public help in solving a three-year-old murder case.
The body of Luverne Nastrom of Bismarck was found in a field northeast of Tuttle on Oct. 2, 2005.
Howard says it appears that Nastrom was struck by a car, which also was found at the scene. He also says Nastrom had head injuries.
Howard says the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. He says the Newman Signs company has agreed to put up a billboard on Interstate 94 near the North Dakota Highway 3 exit, asking for information.
