MOORHEAD, Minn. — Police used a Taser on a Moorhead man early Friday after he refused to cooperate with officers trying to arrest him on suspicion of attempted arson, authorities said.

Moorhead police Lt. Tory Jacobson said officers were dispatched at about 2 a.m. on a report that a man had threatened to burn down the caller’s home. Dispatchers told police the man was there, and the caller could smell gasoline, Jacobson said.
