The medical center, which serves Divide, Williams, Burke and Mountrail counties, has seen an increase of patients from 6,000 in 2010 to more than 24,000 today. The new 15,000-square-foot clinic, expected to be complete in 2015, will be connected to the existing hospital in Tioga.

USDA committed up to a $6.5 million direct loan and a $1.5 million loan guarantee through The Bank of Tioga for the project. Other financing will come from the Bank of North Dakota and the Tioga Medical Center.
