Travel alert issued for Jamestown and most state
The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the North Dakota Highway Patrol has as expanded a no travel advisory to include northcentral North Dakota. The two agencies have also issued a travel alert to for the rest of North Dakota except for the southwest region. The no travel advisory now incldues the citeis of Minot, Devils Lake and the surrounding areas due to freezing rain causing icy road conditions. A no travel advisory was already issued for the northwest section of North Dakota.
A travel alert has been issued for the remainder of the state including Jamestown, Williston, Grand Forks, Fargo, Wahpeton, Valley City, Ellendale, Linton, Bismarck and the surrounding areas, due to freezing rain.
