Two teens found dead in Minnesota

PINE ISLAND, Minn. — The deaths of two college students found in a rural Pine Island shed have been ruled a homicide-suicide.

Kayla Jill Koranda, 18, of Rochester, was found dead at the scene late Monday afternoon. Nicholas Bryan Roecker, 19, who lived at a home on the property, died later at a Rochester hospital. The two graduated from a Rochester high school last year.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office reported that a “medical call” came in at about 4:30 p.m. Monday.

Details of the incident were not released.
