Two-vehicle accident results in damage

A car-truck accident at 2:54 p.m. Friday resulted in damage, but no injuries, according to the James-town Police Department.

Corrine Webber, 65, Jamestown was pulling out of the drive-thru lane in a Volkswagen car at the McDonald’s restaurant on 20th Street Southwest. James-town Police Department Sgt. Brian Miller said Webber turned left on to 20th Street Southwest, then turned right onto 9th Avenue Southwest, drove up over the curb, hit a building at 1910 9th Ave. Southwest, and then hit a parked pickup truck.

Miller said the accident report was not complete Friday afternoon, so he didn’t have damage estimates. Webber was wearing her seat belt, and no citations were issued.
