Marie Boyle, 86, 1208 7th St. SE, was exiting the parking lot in a 2013 General Motors car from the Sanford Clinic and attempted to make a left turn onto Fifth Street Northeast.

Marcella Fors, 75, Binford, N.D., was driving a 2005 Chrysler north on Fifth Street in the 900 block area.

Boyle struck the vehicle Fors was driving while exiting the parking lot. The police said Boyle said she didn’t see the vehicle Fors was driving as there was another vehicle next to Fors traveling north on Fifth Street.

Fors and Boyle were both wearing their seat belts and neither was injured.

Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the General Motors car and $4,000 to the Chrysler.

Boyle was cited for failure to yield while turning left.
