U2, Everly Brothers music chosen for National Recording Registry

NEW YORK - Music by Irish rock group U2, jazz musician Art Blakey and rock-'n-roll singers the Everly Brothers are among 25 sound recordings being added this year to the U.S. Library of Congress' National Recording Registry.

The list announced on Wednesday includes nearly every musical category dating from 1896-1994 and brings the total number of recordings on the registry to 400.
