Updated: Andersen re-elected mayor, Roemmich wins a school board seat as write-in candidate

Katie Andersen has been re-elected mayor of Jamestown, with 1,370 votes compared with challenger Pamela K. Phillips, who had 924 votes, according to unofficial results published by Stutsman County.

Ramone Gumke also won re-election to the Jamestown City Council, with 1,487 votes compared to challenger Dwaine Heinrich's 776 votes.

Three members were elected to the Jamestown Parks and Recreation Commission: Mike Landscoot, with 1,689 votes, Larry Knoblich with 1,559 votes and Richard Ryan with 1,167 votes.

Greg Allen and Mindi Schmitz were both elected to the Jamestown Public School Board, as were Bob Toso and Heidi Heim Larson and write-in candidate Brenda Roemmich. Toso had 1,480 votes, Larson had 1,833 and Roemmich had 386 votes. Write-in candidate Robin Gumke had 228 votes.
