Williston police investigate domestic violence shooting

WILLISTON, N.D. – Williston police have identified a man and woman involved in a weekend shooting that investigators say resulted from a domestic violence situation.

 Officers responded to a call that gunshots were fired shortly after noon Saturday in the 400 block of 11th Street West. A woman identified as Tiffany Foster, 27, suffered three nonfatal gunshot wounds, said the Williston Police Department.

The investigation then led officers to the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue West, where officers heard one gunshot from inside a residence. A man identified as Keith Foster, 41, suffered what officers believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.The investigation is ongoing.
