On Feb. 19, the Stutsman County Chapter MathCounts Competition was held in Pingree. Pingree-Buchanan Public School placed first, and Montpelier Public School placed second in the team portion.

The top three individual awards went to Martha Scheaffer, first, Macey Ziesch, second, and Morgan Smith, third.

The team members of the Pingree team were Martha Scheaffer, Macey Ziesch, Miranda Hartman and Harmony Hennings. The team was coached by Mariah Westerhausen. 

The team members of the Montpelier team were Dylan Stoppleworth, Kiara Debuck, Caitlin Syverson and Morgan Smith. The team was coached by Daniel Hepner.
