 The National Weather Service office in Bismarck has issued a winter weather advisory for Stutsman, McLean, McKenzie, Sheridan, Wells, Foster, Kidder, Logan, LaMoure, McIntosh and Dickey counties through 7 p.m. today.The NWS Bismarck office has also issued a wind chill advisory for 7 p.m. today through noon Sunday for the same areas.Less than an inch of snow is expected in the advisory area, but with winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour could reduce visibilities to a 1/2-mile, according to NWS forecast. Wind chills of minus 40 are possible overnight as well.People traveling are advised to have a winter survival kit in their vehicle and let others know of their travel plans. Travelers should also have a full charged cellphone and keep abreast of the latest weather and road conditions, according to the NWS.
