Woodside makes French all-star team
FARGO (AP) -- Former North Dakota State basketball standout Ben Woodside has made an all-star team in France.
Woodside graduated from NDSU last spring as the school's all-time leading scorer. He is now playing for Gravelines-Dunkerque, a professional team in northern France.
The 5-foot-11 point guard leads the team in scoring at nearly 17 points per game, which ranks seventh in the league.
The league's all-star game is Dec. 30 in Paris. The first-team all stars is a collection of the best French players in the league. Woodside is a member of the second team, a collection of the best foreign players in the league.
