Wyoming crash claims two lives
LUSK, Wyo. (AP) -- Two North Dakota men are dead following a vehicle collision north of Lusk.
Sgt. Stephen Townsend of the Wyoming Highway Patrol reports the crash happened before 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Townsend says a 2002 Lexus driven by 19-year-old Jacob Barth of Dickinson, N.D., was traveling north on U.S. 85 about 44 miles north of Lusk when it crossed the center line. Townsend says Barth's vehicle slammed into a 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by 21-year-old Michael Timmerman of Rolla, N.D.
Barth was pronounced dead at the scene and Timmerman died later at a nearby rest area.
A passenger in Timmerman's car was transported to the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.
