Year after acquittal, Norberg rehired
FARGO — Dr. Jon Norberg, who regained his medical license after he was found not guilty of sexual assault allegations leveled by his ex-wife, has resumed his medical practice at Sanford Health.
Norberg, a hand surgeon, returned to practice earlier this month at Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Darla Dobberstein, a vice president at the Sanford Orthopedics Clinic in Fargo, said Monday in a brief statement.
“He is a highly skilled, excellent hand surgeon who provides quality care to his patients,” she said.
Norberg was unavailable for comment Monday.
Norberg was accused by his former wife, Alonna Norberg, of drugging and sexually assaulting her.
Alonna Norberg, herself a physician, accused her then-husband of injecting her with propofol or using ether-like substances on her without her knowledge and having sex.
