New Arrivals Announcement Form

New Arrivals share information and photographs of babies who are younger than 1 year old. New Arrivals can also announce a child's adoption. The announcements are published in the Wednesday Celebrations section. Cost is $10. One copy of the The Jamestown Sun in which the announcement appears is included in the fee. The copy of the newspaper must be picked up at The Jamestown Sun 121 3rd St NW Jamestown, North Dakota 58401 within five days.

To have the newspapers mailed, please make prior arrangements with the front counter staff at 701-252-3120. There will be an additional $3 charge to have the newspapers mailed. A completed form and photo must be received before the baby is 1 year old. The deadline for receiving announcements is noon Monday.

Although we make every effort to publish announcements on the Wednesday specified, due to space constraints some announcements will be held and published the following Wednesday. Photos can be color or black and white. If you'd like your photo returned, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Photos are held at The Jamestown Sun for 30 days and then discarded.

The Jamestown Sun reserves the right to control editorial content on all announcements in the Celebrations section. Information submitted will be edited to fit The Forum style guidelines.
