Jamestown Lions Club reviews events

Secretary Tom Sanders reviewed membership in-formation and news from the zone chairman and district governor. The club has two major activities this month, the blood drive under the leadership of Gary Speidel and the Salvation Army bell-ringing event, which is chaired by Harold Trautman.

The blood drive is Dec. 16-17. To help with the event call Speidel at 320-3340. To donate blood call 952-2250 (the phone will be an-swered by Heinrich and Company) and ask for Dwaine Heinrich or Jennifer.

Trautman has been working on the Salvation Army bell-ringing effort. The club’s main bell-ringing date is Dec. 23 and the club will fill in on other dates.

Meals on Wheels Chairman Roger Iszler assigned Trautman, Heinrich and Don Jan to deliver Meals on Wheels this week.

The Jamestown Lions Club meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at the Continental Bistro. Visitors and guests are welcome.
