Letter to the editor: Find a place inside stores for those who ring the bell

Who is there first when disaster strikes? The Salvation Army. The weather is terribly cold outside. We put our animals in shelter — it hurts to see these people outside in the wind and cold trying to get donations so they can help someone in need. Have a heart and find a small place indoors out of the cold. It’s Christmas.
