Oakes FD receives $4,800 for boots
Three area organizations recently received grants from the North Dakota Community Foundation. The Oakes, (N.D.) Fire Department will receive $4,800. The funds will be used to replace safety boots for 16 firefighters.
Three area organizations recently received grants from the North Dakota Community Foundation.
The Oakes, (N.D.) Fire Department will receive $4,800. The funds will be used to replace safety boots for 16 firefighters.
Family Bridges in Valley City, N.D., will receive $1,697. The funds will be used to expand the organization’s Safe Visitation Program.
The city of Verona, N.D., will also receive $1,697. The funds will be used to renovate a school building and turn it into a community center.
“The North Dakota Community Foundation is pleased to provide these resources to help make the organizations better and to make this part of North Dakota a better place to live,” said Kevin J. Dvorak, president and CEO of NDCF.
