South Dakota received recalled H1N1 vaccine
A health official says South Dakota got 1,000 doses of a swine flu vaccine that is the subject of a voluntary recall.
PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — A health official says South Dakota got 1,000 doses of a swine flu vaccine that is the subject of a voluntary recall.
State Epidemiologist Lon Kightlinger says there’s no safety concern. Those who received the vaccine are still protected from the flu.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday announced that certain lots of the vaccine were being recalled.
