The Stutsman County Commission approved a beer license for the Anchor Bar during a special meeting Tuesday, according to Noel Johnson, chief operating officer of the county.

The action was taken by the minimum quorum of the commission with Mark Klose, commission chairman, present at the commission chamber and Commissioners Dale Marks and Doug Kaiser attending by telephone.

The Anchor Bar was the last establishment under the county’s jurisdiction to seek and be granted a renewal of its beer or liquor license. County beer and liquor licenses expire at the end of the year.
