BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Bismarck woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to manslaughter and reckless endangerment for a traffic accident that killed another driver.

Authorities allege that 43-year-old Mary Greff fell asleep while driving a cement truck on U.S. Highway 83 and struck a pickup driven by Jeffrey Burgess. The 56-year-old Bismarck man died at the scene.

Authorities said five counts of reckless endangerment relate to injuries to passengers in the pickup and to other drivers who said they had to swerve to avoid the cement truck.

Greff is free on $1,000 cash bond.
