Thomas Hoggarth

Thomas M. Hoggarth February 28, 1936 – January 6, 2010 Resident of Ormond Beach, Florida formally a long time resident of Jamestown, North Dakota passed away after a short term illness at Florida Hospital, Daytona Beach, Florida. Thomas was born in Corinne Township near Courtenay, ND. He graduated from high school in Courtenay, ND and attended North Dakota State University. He also proudly served in the US Army on active duty.

Thomas will forever be remembered and cherished by his loving children Kim Woods (Roger), Grand Forks, N.D., Karla Harmon (Pete), Naper-ville, Il., and Kevin Hoggarth, Ormond Beach, Fla., treasured by his grandchildren Ashley Stroble (Damon), Angus, Mn., Mallory and Nick Woods, Amanda and Thomas Harmon, Logan, Haden, and Sydney Hoggarth, and beloved great-grandchildren Chandler and Hanna Stroble. He is also survived by his three sisters; Charlotte Ueh-ran, , Carmen Van Ray, both of Pingree, ND, and Karen Wolsky, Kensal, ND, and 2 brothers; Duane and Kenneth Hoggarth both of James-town, ND along with countless other family and friends whom valued his wisdom, sense of humor, and devoted love for his family.

Thomas always made time for his family and friends even though he was a hard working self employed farmer, rancher, and successful businessman. He also enjoyed travelling, aviation, the ocean and his involvement with numerous organizations. Thomas touched the lives of many through his kindness, generosity, and positive outlook on life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Elizabeth (Nihill) Hoggarth, brother, Gerald Hoggarth and his beloved wife, Patricia Hoggarth.

A tribute and memorial honoring Thomas Hoggarth will be held this summer in James-town, ND.
