Sex offender working in town
The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a convicted sex offender working in Jamestown. Lucas Nathaniel Flatt, 23, Hannaford, N.D., is working at the construction site for the James-town Regional Medical Center in southwest Jamestown. Flatt is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He is caucasian with blue eyes and sandy brown hair. The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a convicted sex offender working in Jamestown.
Lucas Nathaniel Flatt, 23, Hannaford, N.D., is working at the construction site for the James-town Regional Medical Center in southwest Jamestown.
Flatt is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He is caucasian with blue eyes and sandy brown hair. He drives a red 2000 GMC Jimmy with North Dakota license plate No. JBZ 463.
Flatt was convicted of two counts of gross sexual imposition. While he was on probation, he was accused of having intercourse with two 14-year-old girls on separate occasions. While Flatt was on bond awaiting trial, police caught him in a car with a 13-year-old girl. He was convicted on Oct. 27, 2006 in Griggs County District Court.
Flatt is on probation with dNorth Dakota Parole and Probation.
He is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community. This information should not be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
